Ingredients

For covering
Fresh bread crumbs 3 cup
spinach puree 1/2 cup
salt to taste
For filling
boiled mashed potatoes 1 cup
ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
onion finely chopped 1/4 cup
Green peas , boiled - 2 tbsp
salt to taste
red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
garam masala 1/2 tsp
jeera 1/2 tsp
oil 1 tbsp
Oil for frying

Method

Add bread crumbs , spinach puree and salt in a bowl

Knead smooth dough , add little water if needed. Rest dough aside for 20 minutes

Heat oil in a pan, splutter cumin seeds

Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw aroma disappears

Add onion and saute until light brown

Add salt , red chili powder, turmeric powder,garam masala and mix well

Add green peas and boiled potato. Mix well and cook for a min. Switch off

Now take small portion of dough and roll into roti. Cut it in to two equal parts and fold like a cone

Add filling , brush water to sides and seal completely

Drop samosas in hot oil and deep fry until golden brown and crisp

Serve hot samosa with chutney or sauce
