Stashcook: Meal Planner & Recipe Keeper
These terms and conditions ("Agreement") set forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the "Stashcook" mobile application ("Mobile Application" or "Service") and any of its related products and services (collectively, "Services"). This Agreement is legally binding between you ("User", "you" or "your") and Stashbox Ltd ("Stashbox Ltd", "we", "us" or "our").
By accessing and using the Mobile Application and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you are entering into this Agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the Mobile Application or Services.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Mobile Application and Services.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or security breach.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement or are used in a way that could reasonably harm our Services, users, or reputation.
You retain ownership of any data, information, text, images, or other material ("Content") that you save, upload, or store using the Services.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the right to save, use, and store any Content within Stashcook, including any third-party recipes or materials.
By using the Services, you grant Stashbox Ltd a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to access, store, copy, process, reformat, and display your Content solely for the purpose of providing and operating the Services for you.
We do not use user-stored Content for advertising, promotional, or marketing purposes, and we do not publish user-stored Content outside of the user's own account.
We may remove or restrict access to Content where required by law, where a valid takedown notice is received, or where Content violates this Agreement or our policies.
Where the Services offer automated or AI-assisted features, those features operate on content and sources chosen by the user in order to extract and organise information, and any resulting content is processed and stored at the user's direction.
The use of automated or AI-assisted features does not involve automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on users.
Some Services may require payment. Pricing, subscription terms, and free trial details are presented within the Mobile Application or web app at the point of purchase.
Payments and subscriptions made through third-party app stores (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play) are subject to the terms and billing practices of those platforms. We do not control app-store billing, cancellations, or refunds.
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play must be managed directly through the respective platform. Users are responsible for cancelling their subscriptions via their Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Refund requests for app-store purchases are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their policies.
Subscriptions purchased directly through the Stashcook web app are processed via our payment provider, Stripe.
If you purchase a subscription through the web app, you may request a refund within 30 days of the initial purchase, provided the subscription has not been substantially used. Refund requests must be submitted by contacting us at hello@stashcook.com.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. After the 30-day period, or where the subscription has been substantially used, refunds are not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis where required by law.
We reserve the right to change pricing or available plans at any time, subject to applicable law.
We aim to ensure that information presented in the Mobile Application and Services is accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, current, or error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors or update information at any time.
We perform regular backups of user data as part of operating the Services. While we take reasonable care, we do not guarantee that backups will be complete or free from errors.
You agree not to use the Services to:

All intellectual property rights in the Mobile Application and Services, excluding user-stored Content, are owned by or licensed to Stashbox Ltd. This Agreement does not grant you any ownership rights in our intellectual property.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stashbox Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the greater of £1 or the amount you paid to us in the one month preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stashbox Ltd from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of this Agreement.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under this Agreement.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the Mobile Application or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
By using the Mobile Application and Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
