This is a creamy dip made with ripe avocados, tangy yogurt, and fresh cilantro. It has a little spicy kick from chili powder. You scoop it with crunchy pita chips. It's green and yummy!

Ingredients

2 ripe avocados
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 oz pita chips

Method

Wash and dry the fresh cilantro and red onion.

Juice the lime into a medium mixing bowl.

Halve and pit the avocados; using a spoon, scoop out the flesh and add it to the bowl with lime juice.

Add the chopped red onion and cilantro to the avocado.

Season with chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

Mash the ingredients with a fork or potato masher until well combined but still slightly chunky.

Stir in the Greek yogurt until the dip is creamy and well mixed.

Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

Serve the dip in a bowl surrounded by pita chips for scooping.
