This is a yummy pizza made with pita bread. It has a green sauce made from spinach and nuts. We put cheese and red veggies on top. It's cooked in the oven until it's crispy and the cheese melts.

Ingredients

2 whole grain pitas
1/3 cup spinach pesto
1/2 x 8 oz block feta cheese
1/4 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Method

Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C).

Lay the pitas on a baking sheet.

Spread the spinach pesto evenly over each pita.

Crumble the feta cheese and sprinkle it over the pesto.

Take the roasted red peppers and lay them on top of the feta.

Season the pizzas with dried oregano for extra flavor.

Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the pita is crispy and the cheese has softened.

After baking, wait for a couple of minutes to let the pizzas cool down a bit.

Cut the pitas into wedges and they're ready to eat. Enjoy your meal!
