Ingredients

all purpose flour 1 cup

kalonji 1/2 tsp

salt

refined oil 1 tablespoon

potatoes 4 boiled and mashed

turmeric powder 1 tsp

red chilli powder 1 tsp

curry powder 1/2 tsp

coriander leaves 1 tbsp

cumin 1 tsp

coriander 1 tsp

dry mango powder

onion 1 chopped

ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp

Method

first make a dough using all purpose flour,refined oil,salt and kalonji and rest it for 15 mins

in the meantime take a Kadhai and add 2 tablespoons of oil

add cumin and coriander and sauté onion

when light brown add ginger garlic paste and sauté till raw smell goes completely

add mashed potatoes,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,curry powder and dry mango powder and mix well

add salt

add coriander leaves and switch off the flame

now make a big chapati from the dough

spread the potato mixture evenly all around

now roll it

cut it in 1/2 inch pieces

make a smooth paste using 1 tablespoons of all purpose flour and half cup water

take one piece and press it gently and deep in this paste and deep fry

do everything like this

deep fry in medium to low flame till crispy and golden

16

serve hot with chutney or sauce
