Mac & Cheese recipe


This is a creamy, cheesy pasta dish with soft noodles and a rich sauce. It's made with milk, cheese, and macaroni. Kids and adults love it because it's cheesy and yummy!


2 medium carrots
1/2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
350 g macaroni pasta
500 ml chicken stock
500 ml whole milk
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp mustard powder
200 g grated cheddar cheese
50 g grated parmesan cheese


Peel and finely grate the carrots.
In a large pot over medium heat, add the olive oil and then the onion. Cook for 2-3 minutes until soft. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the grated carrots, macaroni, chicken stock, milk, thyme, and mustard powder to the pot. Stir well.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 5-7 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
Stir in the cheddar and parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Remove from the heat.
Serve the mac & cheese hot and enjoy!
