Herbed Tuna Salad with Pita Chips recipe


This is a yummy tuna salad mixed with herbs and served with crunchy pita chips. It's made with tuna, creamy dressing, and fresh veggies. You mix everything in a bowl and eat it with the chips. It's easy and quick to make for a snack or lunch.


2 x (5 oz) cans chunk light tuna in water
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup cucumber, diced
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
5 oz baked pita chips


Drain the tuna and place it in a large bowl. Use a fork to flake the tuna into small pieces.
In a separate small bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice to create a creamy dressing.
Add the chopped red onion and diced cucumber to the tuna.
Sprinkle the garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper over the tuna mixture.
Pour the creamy dressing over the tuna and veggies. Stir everything together until well combined.
Serve the herbed tuna salad with baked pita chips on the side for dipping or scooping. Enjoy your meal!
