This is a yummy meal with beef on sticks and a fresh salad. The beef is marinated in herbs and grilled. The salad has tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, and a special dressing. It's a fun dinner that tastes like it's from a faraway place by the sea.

Ingredients

120 ml Italian dressing
2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
680 g sirloin steak
1 large red onion
1 large red bell pepper
200 g feta cheese, cubed
1 large English cucumber
300 g cherry tomatoes
1/4 cup black olives, pitted
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt
Pepper

Method

If using wooden skewers, soak 8-12 skewers in water for at least 20 minutes to prevent burning.

Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and season with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, mix the Italian dressing with chopped rosemary and thyme. Add the steak cubes to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.

Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat.

Cut the red onion and red bell pepper into chunks suitable for skewering.

Thread the marinated steak, onion, and bell pepper onto the skewers.

Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches desired doneness.

For the salad, dice the cucumber, halve the cherry tomatoes, and slice the black olives.

In a large bowl, combine cucumber, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and cubed feta cheese.

Drizzle the salad with red wine vinegar and a splash of olive oil. Toss to combine and season with salt and pepper to taste.
