This is a yummy sandwich with melted cheese and bread. It's cooked until the bread is toasty and the cheese is gooey. It's good for lunch or a snack.

Ingredients

8 slices of sourdough bread
4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup of shredded provolone cheese
8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
4 tablespoons of ranch dressing

Method

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.

Sprinkle the buttered sides with dried oregano and onion powder.

On the non-buttered side of four bread slices, evenly distribute the mozzarella and provolone cheeses.

Add crumbled bacon on top of the cheese.

Drizzle 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing over the bacon on each sandwich.

Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Once hot, place the sandwiches buttered side down and cook for 3 minutes or until golden brown.

Flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the second side is golden brown.

Serve the grilled cheese sandwiches hot.
