This is a yummy toast with creamy cheese, sweet figs, and salty ham. You put cheese on bread, add ham and figs, and drizzle honey on top. It's easy to make and tastes really good!

Ingredients

250 g Ricotta Cheese
4 Slices of Ciabatta Bread
6 Slices of Parma Ham
4 Ripe Figs
1 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Balsamic Glaze
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Pinch of Sea Salt
1 Pinch of Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Method

Place the ricotta in a bowl, add a pinch of sea salt, and mix well.

Cut the ciabatta bread into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Brush each slice of ciabatta with olive oil on both sides.

Heat a grill pan over medium heat and toast the ciabatta slices for about 2 minutes on each side, until they are golden and crispy.

Cut the figs into quarters.

Spread the seasoned ricotta cheese generously over each slice of toasted ciabatta.

Drape a slice of Parma ham over the ricotta on each crostini.

Top each crostini with a quartered fig.

Drizzle honey and balsamic glaze over the crostini.

Finish with a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper and serve immediately.
