Fettuccine with Creamy Mushroom and Spinach Sauce recipe


This is a pasta dish with creamy sauce, mushrooms, and spinach. You cook noodles and make a sauce with cheese and veggies. Then you mix them and eat it. It's yummy and not too hard to make!


300 g fettuccine pasta
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
200 g cremini mushrooms, sliced
280 g baby spinach
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped


Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large pan, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and mushrooms, and sauté until mushrooms are browned, about 5 minutes.
Add spinach to the pan and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is creamy and cheese is melted.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
Serve the pasta in bowls, topped with toasted walnuts for a crunchy texture. Enjoy your creamy mushroom and spinach fettuccine!
