This Easy Beer Bread is such a simple homemade bread recipe. It's made with just 5 ingredients and it's delicious! Subtly sweet, perfect anytime, especially straight out of the oven.

Ingredients

3 cups self-rising flour (339 grams (SEE NOTE))
3 tablespoons granulated sugar (39 grams)
2 teaspoons kosher salt (6 grams)
12 ounces mild beer (340 grams (1 bottle), Blue Moon Honey Wheat recommended)
¼ cup salted butter (57 grams, melted (½ stick))

Method

Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.

In a large bowl, stir the flour, sugar, and salt together. Slowly stir in the beer and mix, with a wooden spoon, until almost smooth.

Transfer dough to the loaf pan, and bake at 350°F about 20 minutes. Brush melted butter over the top of the bread and bake an additional 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. The top should be golden brown and the bread should be 200°F internally.

Set pan on a cooling rack and cool for 5 minutes. Remove the bread from the pan and return to the cooling rack to completely cool.
