Chicken & Broccoli Pasta with Homemade Alfredo recipe

This is a yummy pasta dish with chicken and broccoli. You cook pasta and broccoli together. Then you mix in chicken and a creamy sauce. It's a warm and filling meal for dinner.

Ingredients

12 oz fettuccine pasta
1 lb broccoli florets
2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt

Method

Fill a large pot with water, add 1/2 tsp salt, and bring to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook for 8 minutes.

Add the broccoli florets to the pot with the pasta and cook for an additional 4 minutes, until the pasta is al dente and the broccoli is tender.

While the pasta and broccoli are cooking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Bring the cream mixture to a simmer, then add the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Drain the pasta and broccoli in a colander and return them to the pot.

Add the shredded rotisserie chicken to the pot with the pasta and broccoli.

Pour the homemade Alfredo sauce over the pasta, chicken, and broccoli. Toss everything together until well coated.

Serve the Chicken & Broccoli Pasta with extra grated Parmesan cheese on top, if desired.
