Apple Pie French Toast Recipe

Easy Peasy Meals

This fun twist on a traditional french toast had my kids going crazy for breakfast.

Ingredients

1 recipe French Toast

1 Granny Smith Apple (cut into chunks)

2 Tbs butter

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp ground cloves

2 ounces cream cheese

Method

Mix french toast batter according to recipe instructions.

While cooking french toast, melt butter in a saucepan, add apples and spices, and cook until apples are soft, about 5 minutes

While french toast is hot, spread cream cheese over top, then top with cooked apples.
