Turkey and Cranberry Grilled Cheese recipe

This grilled cheese sandwich is a tasty way to use up holiday leftovers. It has turkey, cranberry sauce, and two kinds of cheese. It's grilled until golden and yummy. It's perfect for a cozy meal after the holidays.

Ingredients

8 slices of whole grain bread
200 g leftover turkey, sliced
100 g brie cheese, sliced
100 g cheddar cheese, shredded
4 tbsp cranberry sauce
4 tbsp mayonnaise
4 tbsp butter, softened
2 tbsp Dijon mustard

Method

Lay out 4 slices of bread. Spread one side of each slice with 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise.

On the other side of each of these slices, spread 1/2 tablespoon of Dijon mustard.

Layer the mustard side with brie cheese, turkey slices, and a tablespoon of cranberry sauce each.

Top with cheddar cheese and cover with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side out.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter in it.

Place the sandwiches in the skillet, two at a time, and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted, adding more butter as needed for the remaining sandwiches.

Once cooked, remove from the skillet, cut in half, and serve warm.
