Tuna Pasta recipe


This is a yummy pasta with tuna, sweetcorn, and green peppers. You boil pasta, make a sauce with butter, flour, and milk, and mix in tuna and veggies. It's a warm, filling meal!


300 g linguine
1 x (200 g) can tuna in spring water, drained and flaked
1/2 small red onion, finely sliced
1 lemon, juiced and zested
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small bunch dill, chopped
1 red bell pepper, diced
100 g sweetcorn, drained


Cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente.
While the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the red onion and red bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the flaked tuna, lemon juice, lemon zest, sautéed onion and pepper, sweetcorn, and remaining olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Drain the cooked linguine and add it to the bowl with the tuna mixture. Toss everything together until well combined.
Garnish with the chopped dill and serve warm.
