3/4 tsp kosher salt ((use less if using table salt))
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika powder
1/2 cup Sweet Red Chili Sauce ((or any other sauce you prefer))
Method
1
Thaw the chicken wings if they're frozen. Cut the wings into sections (optional), discarding the tips (optional) and separating the wing between the drumette and the wingette.
2
Preheat air fryer to 400F.
3
Season: Thoroughly pat with a paper towel & add to a large bowl or a gallon-sized ziplock bag (helps with cleanup). Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp baking powder & toss to coat evenly. Now drizzle with 2 Tbsp of oil and sprinkle with 3/4 tsp of kosher salt, 1/4 tsp of black pepper, and 1/4 tsp of smoked paprika. Mix to coat evenly.
4
Cook in the air fryer: Add the chicken wings to the air fryer and "stand" them up to fit all of them into the air fryer basket. If you're using a smaller than an 8 qt air fryer, do this in 2 batches. Air fry for 10 minutes, then rotate the chicken wings and stand them up on the opposite side & cook for another 10 minutes or until the chicken wings are ready.
5
Toss with sauce: Remove the chicken wings to a clean bowl, add 1/2 cup of sweet and sour sauce and toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
