Sweet Potato Wedges recipe


These are yummy potato pieces with a crispy edge. They are orange like a pumpkin and soft inside. You can dip them in a special sauce or eat them by themselves. They are good for a snack or with dinner.


600 g sweet potatoes, cut into wedges
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


Preheat your oven to 200C (400F).
Place the sweet potato wedges in a large bowl. Add the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the wedges are well coated.
Spread the wedges out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the wedges are golden and crispy, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
Once done, sprinkle the hot sweet potato wedges with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
Serve the sweet potato wedges while they're warm and enjoy!
