Spicy Red Pepper and Almond Dip recipe

This is a yummy dip made with almonds and red peppers. It's a little spicy and sweet. You blend nuts, peppers, and spices to make it. Eat it with bread or veggies for a fun snack!

Ingredients

120 g Almonds
1 x (300 g) Jar of Roasted Red Peppers
1 Tbsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
50 g Dry Breadcrumbs
1 Lime
1/2 Tsp Smoked Paprika
2 Tbsp Olive Oil

Method

Place the almonds in a dry pan and toast them over medium heat until they are golden and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. Let them cool slightly.

Drain the roasted red peppers and add them to a food processor along with the toasted almonds, dry breadcrumbs, crushed red pepper flakes, maple syrup, smoked paprika, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Pulse the mixture until it is well combined but still has some texture, not completely smooth.

Season the dip with salt and freshly squeezed lime juice to taste.

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of smoked paprika if desired. Serve with slices of crusty bread or fresh vegetables.
