Spicy Garlic Infused Oil recipe


This oil is full of spicy flavors with a hint of garlic. It's made by heating oil and pouring it over spices and garlic. You can use it to cook or add flavor to your food. It's easy to make and can be kept in the fridge.


1 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tbsp Chilli Flakes
1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 Tsp Ground Sichuan Peppercorns
250 ml Vegetable Oil
1/4 Tsp Salt


Place the red pepper flakes, chilli flakes, sesame seeds, minced garlic, ground Sichuan peppercorns, and salt into a heatproof bowl.
In a small saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches approximately 180°C (350°F).
Carefully pour the hot oil over the spice and garlic mixture, ensuring all the spices are covered by the oil.
Allow the mixture to cool down to room temperature, then stir to ensure all the flavors are well combined.
Transfer the oil to a sterilized jar and let it infuse for at least 30 minutes before using to enhance its flavors.
Store the infused oil in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Use it to add a spicy kick to dishes or as a dipping oil for bread.
