Spicy Garlic Chicken Wings with Ranch Dressed Salad recipe


This is a yummy meal with spicy chicken wings and a fresh salad. The wings are baked until crispy and coated in a spicy garlic sauce. The salad has greens, celery, and carrots with ranch dressing.


2 1/2 lb chicken wings, split with tips removed
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup hot sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp honey
5 sticks celery, thinly sliced
1 x (10 oz) bag shredded carrots
1 x (5 oz) pkg spring mix (mixed greens)
3/4 cup ranch dressing


Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C). Coat a large baking sheet with olive oil.
Dry chicken wings with paper towels and place in a bowl. Mix cornstarch, salt, and pepper, then toss wings to coat. Arrange on the baking sheet.
Bake wings for 20-25 minutes, turning once, until cooked and crispy.
While wings bake, mix hot sauce, minced garlic, and honey in a bowl. Set aside.
Prepare the salad by combining sliced celery, shredded carrots, and mixed greens in a bowl. Drizzle with ranch dressing and toss.
Once wings are done, toss them in the spicy garlic sauce to coat.
Serve wings with the ranch dressed salad on the side.
