This is a yummy dinner with a big piece of steak and mashed potatoes. It has green veggies and garlic to make it taste really good. You cook the steak in a pan and mash the potatoes with garlic.

Ingredients

4 ribeye steaks (8 oz each)
1 lb broccoli rabe, trimmed
4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup whole milk
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste

Method

1
Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Add the cubed potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
2
While the potatoes are boiling, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3
Add the broccoli rabe to the skillet, sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes, and season with salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli rabe is tender and slightly crispy, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
4
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the milk and butter, and mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5
Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
6
Heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil in another skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
7
Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.
8
To serve, place a scoop of garlic mash on each plate, top with a portion of the broccoli rabe, and place a ribeye steak alongside. Enjoy!
