Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Mousse recipe

This is a creamy mousse with a twist of peanut butter and a hint of salt. It's sweet and salty, with a smooth texture. You mix chocolate, peanut butter, and caramel, then let it set in the fridge. It's a yummy treat!

Ingredients

100 g Soft Caramels
3 Tbsp Heavy Cream
1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
20 g Unsalted Butter
125 g Mini Marshmallows
200 g Milk Chocolate
2 Tbsp Creamy Peanut Butter
300 ml Whipping Cream

Method

Place the soft caramels and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until the caramels have melted into a smooth sauce.

Stir in the sea salt to the caramel sauce, then remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

In a separate saucepan, combine the milk chocolate, mini marshmallows, and unsalted butter. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until everything is melted and smooth.

Remove the chocolate mixture from the heat and stir in the creamy peanut butter until well combined. Allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.

In a mixing bowl, whip the whipping cream until it forms medium-stiff peaks.

Gently fold the whipped cream into the cooled chocolate and peanut butter mixture until no streaks remain.

Spoon a layer of the salted caramel sauce into the bottom of 6 ramekins.

Divide the chocolate peanut butter mousse evenly on top of the caramel layer in the ramekins, smoothing the tops with a spoon.

Refrigerate the mousse for at least 1 hour to set before serving.
