This is a warm drink with coffee, milk, and pumpkin. It tastes like pumpkin pie and is perfect for fall. You mix everything and heat it up. It's a cozy drink for cold days.

Ingredients

60 ml espresso

2 tsp pumpkin puree

200 ml milk

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1 cinnamon stick (optional for garnish)

30 ml water

25 g granulated sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp ground ginger

Method

In a small pot, combine the water, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved to create a simple syrup.

In a mug, combine the espresso with 25 ml of the simple syrup you just made.

In a separate container, mix the pumpkin puree with the milk, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground ginger. Heat the mixture until hot and frothy, either in a microwave or on the stove.

Pour the spiced pumpkin milk mixture into the mug with the espresso and syrup.

Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg, and optionally add a cinnamon stick for extra flavor and presentation.
