Pork Chops with Caramelized Onion and Apple Salad recipe


This is a yummy dinner with meat and a fresh salad. You cook pork chops and make a salad with apples, onions, and walnuts. It's a little sweet and very tasty!


4 boneless pork chops
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large red onion
1/2 cup walnuts
1 lb Brussels sprouts
2 Fuji apples
1 tablespoon lemon juice


Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season the pork chops with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.
Mix honey, Dijon mustard, and balsamic vinegar in a bowl.
Put the pork chops in a baking dish and pour half of the honey mixture over them.
Bake the pork chops for 10 minutes, then flip them and add the rest of the honey mixture. Bake for another 15 minutes.
While the pork chops bake, slice the red onion and cook it in a pan with olive oil over medium heat until it's soft and brown.
Chop the Brussels sprouts into thin slices.
Cut the apples into small pieces and mix them with lemon juice, the cooked onions, and the remaining salt and pepper.
Chop the walnuts and add them to the apple and onion mix.
Add the Brussels sprouts to the apple mix and stir everything together.
When the pork chops are done, let them rest for a few minutes.
Put the pork chops on plates and add the apple salad next to them. Now it's ready to eat!
