Penne with Spicy Chicken and Green Beans recipe

This is a yummy pasta dish with chicken and green beans. It's a bit spicy and very creamy. You cook pasta, mix it with chicken, green beans, and a creamy sauce. Then you sprinkle cheese on top. It's good for dinner and makes enough for 4 people.

Ingredients

300 g Penne Pasta
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
200 g Chicken Breast, diced
150 g Green Beans, trimmed and cut into 2 cm pieces
120 g Cream Cheese
60 ml Chicken Broth
50 g Grated Mozzarella Cheese
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste

Method

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the diced chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the red pepper flakes and green beans, and cook for an additional 3 minutes, until the beans are tender but still crisp.

Lower the heat and add the cream cheese and chicken broth to the pan. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Add the cooked penne pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese over the pasta and let it melt into the dish for about 2 minutes.

Serve the pasta hot, garnished with extra red pepper flakes if desired.
