Linguine with Shrimp and Sun-Dried Tomatoes recipe


This is a yummy pasta dish with shrimp and sun-dried tomatoes. You cook pasta and mix it with shrimp, tomatoes, and tasty sauce. It's a fun meal for dinner and not too hard to make!


400 g Linguine
250 g Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
150 g Sun-Dried Tomatoes, chopped
150 ml Dry White Wine
1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
30 g Fresh Basil, chopped
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste


Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they start to turn pink.
Pour in the white wine and add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through and the wine has reduced slightly.
Drain the linguine and add it to the skillet with the shrimp and sun-dried tomato sauce. Toss everything together to coat the pasta in the sauce.
Remove from heat, season with salt and black pepper to taste, and stir in the chopped basil.
Serve the linguine with shrimp and sun-dried tomatoes hot, garnished with more basil if desired.
