This is a yummy chicken wing dish with a sweet and savory glaze. The wings are baked until crispy and then coated with a honey-soy mixture. They are sprinkled with sesame seeds and green onions for extra flavor.

Ingredients

900 g Chicken Wings (about 10 wings)
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
3 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
2 Tbsp Smooth Peanut Butter
1 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2 Cloves of Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger, grated
1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
2 Spring Onions, thinly sliced
Salt and Pepper to taste

Method

1
Preheat the oven to 190°C/374°F.
2
Lay the chicken wings out on a wire rack with a baking tray underneath to catch any juices. Drizzle with sesame oil, then season with salt and pepper.
3
Roast the wings in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, until crispy.
4
While the wings are roasting, mix together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, peanut butter, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl to create the glaze.
5
Once the wings are crispy, remove them from the oven and toss them in the honey-soy glaze until evenly coated.
6
Return the glazed wings to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to set the glaze.
7
Sprinkle the wings with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions before serving.
