Stashcook

This is a yummy chicken wing dish with a sweet and salty glaze. The wings are coated in a honey soy sauce and baked until sticky and golden. It's a tasty meal for family fun time!

Ingredients

120 ml Soy Sauce
80 ml Honey
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
1 kg Chicken Wings, tips removed, drumettes and flats separated
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 Green Onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Ground Ginger

Method

1
In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and ground ginger.
2
Add chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
3
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
4
Remove chicken wings from marinade and place on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
5
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and the glaze is sticky, turning the wings halfway through cooking.
6
While the wings are baking, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
7
Once the wings are cooked, remove from the oven and brush with the thickened glaze.
8
Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onion over the glazed wings and serve.
