Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken with Green Bean Salad recipe


This is a yummy grilled chicken with a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce. It comes with a fresh green bean salad with lemon and almonds. It's a tasty meal for dinner!


1.5 lb chicken thighs, boneless skinless
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb green beans, trimmed
1 lemon, juiced
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
1/4 cup chopped parsley


In a small bowl, mix together honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the honey mustard sauce.
Place the chicken thighs in a dish and coat them with half of the honey mustard sauce. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, brush the grill with olive oil.
Grill the chicken thighs for about 10 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked, basting with the remaining honey mustard sauce occasionally.
While the chicken is grilling, bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 2 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
In a salad bowl, toss the blanched green beans with lemon juice, olive oil, sliced almonds, and chopped parsley.
Serve the grilled honey mustard chicken with the fresh green bean salad on the side.
