Honey Glazed Miso Carrots recipe


This is a dish with sweet carrots covered in a tasty sauce. The sauce is made with butter, miso, and honey. It's cooked in the oven until the carrots are soft. It's a yummy side dish for dinner.


600 g Carrots
50 g Unsalted Butter
50 g White Miso Paste
2 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
2 tbsp Warm Water


Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks or leave them whole if they are small.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the miso paste, honey, and warm water. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.
Place the carrots in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat.
Pour the miso-honey mixture over the carrots, making sure they are well coated.
Cover the baking dish with foil and roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Remove the foil, stir the carrots, and continue to roast for another 20 minutes or until they are tender and glazed.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the carrots before serving.
