This is a yummy chicken dish with a sweet honey glaze. We cut chicken into small pieces and cook them until they're crispy. Then we mix them with a sauce made from honey, garlic, and a little bit of soy sauce. It's a tasty meal that's a little bit sticky and very delicious.

Ingredients

3 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
4 Cloves of Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Grated Ginger
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
2 Eggs, beaten
500 g Chicken Breast, cut into bite-size pieces
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
4 Spring Onions, chopped
1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
Vegetable Oil for frying
300 g Jasmine Rice

Method

1
Start by cooking the jasmine rice according to the package instructions.
2
Heat a generous amount of vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
3
Prepare two bowls: one with cornstarch and the other with beaten eggs.
4
Dip each chicken piece in cornstarch, then egg, and again in cornstarch. Ensure each piece is well coated.
5
Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
6
In a separate pan, heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
7
Stir in honey, soy sauce, tomato paste, and apple cider vinegar to create the glaze. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
8
Add the crispy chicken to the glaze and toss to coat evenly.
9
Serve the honey glazed chicken bites over the cooked rice, garnished with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds.
