Great for lunches or after-school snacks, this is a recipe with legs to inspire young cooks.
Ingredients
6 small-sized chicken drumsticks
7.95 gm soy sauce
28.60 gm honey
30ml chicken style liquid stock
62.50 gm fruit chutney
11.50 gm vegetable oil
75.00 gm sesame seeds
Method

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Place the drumsticks in a large, flat dish.

In a medium-sized bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, chicken stock, fruit chutney and vegetable oil. Stir well until all the ingredients are combined. Pour the mixture over the drumsticks and lightly brush with a pastry brush until they are well coated with the mixture.

Using baking paper, line a heavy-based, non-stick, medium-sized baking dish. Place drumsticks in the baking dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked. Turn the drumsticks over halfway through the baking time.

Serve the drumsticks warm as a snack or cold in your school lunchbox.
