Herbed Tuna and Swiss Cheese Panini recipe


This is a yummy sandwich with tuna and melted cheese. It's like a grilled cheese but with tuna and herbs. You cook it in a pan until it's crispy and the cheese is gooey.


4 Ciabatta rolls
2 x (120 g) cans of Tuna in Water
4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1/2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Dried Basil
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
8 slices Swiss Cheese
1 tablespoon Olive Oil


Drain the tuna and place it in a medium bowl.
Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, dried oregano, dried basil, and garlic powder to the bowl with the tuna. Mix well.
Slice the ciabatta rolls in half and divide the tuna mixture evenly among the bottom halves of the rolls.
Place two slices of Swiss cheese on top of the tuna mixture on each roll.
Cover with the top halves of the ciabatta rolls.
Brush the outside of the rolls with olive oil.
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.
Place the sandwiches in the pan and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, pressing down with a spatula, until the bread is toasted and the cheese has melted.
Serve the panini hot and enjoy!
