Herbed Cream Cheese and Scrambled Egg Sandwich recipe


This is a yummy breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese, and herbs on a toasted bagel. It has crispy turkey bacon and is easy to make. It's good for breakfast or a snack.


4 large eggs
50 g shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp olive oil
2 whole wheat bagels
4 slices of turkey bacon
1 tbsp chopped chives
2 tbsp whipped cream cheese
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder


Cut the turkey bacon into small pieces and cook in a non-stick pan over medium heat for about 8 minutes until crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil in a pan over low heat, pour in the egg mixture, and cook gently, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until the eggs are just set.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chives, cooking for an additional minute until the cheese is melted.
Toast the whole wheat bagels until they are golden brown.
Spread each bagel half with whipped cream cheese.
Divide the scrambled egg mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the toasted bagels.
Top the eggs with the crispy turkey bacon pieces.
Cover with the top halves of the bagels and serve immediately.
