Herbed Beef Patties with Spicy Mayo & Mixed Greens recipe


This is a yummy beef patty with spicy mayo. It comes with a fresh salad of greens, tomatoes, and cucumbers. You make the patties and cook them in a pan. Then mix the salad and spicy mayo to eat with the patties.


1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp sriracha sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 cups mixed salad greens
1 large tomato, cut into wedges
1/2 English cucumber, sliced
1 small red onion, thinly sliced


In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Form the beef mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
While the patties cook, in a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lemon juice to create the spicy mayo.
In a separate bowl, toss the mixed salad greens, tomato wedges, cucumber slices, and red onion to make the salad.
Serve each beef patty with a generous dollop of spicy mayo and a side of the mixed greens salad.
