Hearty Breakfast Skillet recipe


This is a yummy breakfast that has potatoes, meat, and eggs. It's cooked in one pan and has lots of flavors. It's like a big, warm hug in the morning. You can share it with your family or friends.


3 Large Potatoes
1 cup Ham, diced
4 Eggs
1 Large Onion
6 slices Turkey Bacon
1 cup Bell Peppers, diced
2 Large Tomatoes
1/4 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Paprika


Wash and chop the potatoes into small cubes, then boil them for 8 minutes until they are just starting to soften.
While the potatoes are boiling, dice the onion, bell peppers, and tomatoes, and cut the turkey bacon into small pieces.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook until it starts to crisp, about 5 minutes.
Add the diced onion and bell peppers to the skillet with the bacon and cook for another 3 minutes until they soften.
Drain the potatoes and add them to the skillet. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Make four wells in the skillet mixture and crack an egg into each well. Cover the skillet with a lid and let the eggs cook for about 4 minutes, or until they are done to your liking.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the skillet and let it melt.
Chop the tomatoes and scatter them over the top of the skillet.
Serve the breakfast skillet hot from the pan, making sure everyone gets some of the crispy potatoes, veggies, meat, and an egg.
