Hearty Breakfast Burger recipe


This breakfast burger is a delicious way to start your day. It has crispy hash browns, juicy sausage, smoky bacon, melted cheese, and a fried egg, all stacked inside a toasted brioche bun with a special sauce.


4 large potatoes, grated
4 pork sausages
4 slices of cheddar cheese
8 slices of bacon
4 brioche buns
4 eggs
4 Tbsp mayonnaise
4 Tbsp barbecue sauce
2 Tbsp sriracha sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying


Start by rinsing the grated potatoes and squeezing out the excess moisture. Season with salt and pepper, then form into 4 hash brown patties.
Heat a skillet over medium heat with a bit of vegetable oil. Cook the hash brown patties until golden and crispy on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
Remove the sausage meat from the casings and form into 4 equal patties. Cook in the same skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, about 5 minutes per side. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Cut the brioche buns in half and toast them lightly in the skillet or toaster.
For the fried eggs, wipe out the skillet and add a little more oil. Crack the eggs into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and fry to your desired doneness.
Make the sauce by mixing together mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl.
Assemble the breakfast burgers by spreading sauce on the bottom half of each bun, then layering with a hash brown patty, sausage patty with melted cheese, two slices of bacon, and a fried egg. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
