Ham, Cabbage, and Potato Skillet recipe


This is a warm and hearty dish with chopped cabbage, sliced potatoes, and tasty ham cubes. It's all cooked together in one big pan. It's a yummy dinner that makes you feel full and happy!


2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 small head cabbage, coarsely chopped
1/3 cup chicken broth
4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 cups diced cooked ham
Salt and pepper to taste


Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the chopped cabbage and pour in chicken broth, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the sliced potatoes to the skillet, sprinkle with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
Mix in the diced ham and cook for another 5 minutes, or until everything is heated through and flavors are combined.
