Grilled Tilapia Tacos with Mango Salsa & Cabbage Slaw recipe


This is a yummy taco recipe with grilled fish and fresh toppings. You put grilled tilapia, mango salsa, and cabbage slaw in a tortilla. It's fun to make and eat!


2 tilapia fillets
1 ripe mango
1/4 small red onion
1 small jalapeño
1/2 medium head napa cabbage
8 small flour tortillas
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1 lime


Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.
Drizzle the tilapia fillets with 1 tablespoon olive oil and season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Grill the tilapia for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until cooked through and easily flaked with a fork. Transfer to a plate.
Peel and dice the mango. Finely chop the red onion and jalapeño. Combine in a bowl with the juice of half a lime and a pinch of salt to create the mango salsa.
Thinly slice the napa cabbage and place in a large bowl. Add chopped cilantro leaves and the juice of the remaining half lime. Toss with the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
Warm the flour tortillas in a microwave or on the grill for about 30 seconds.
Flake the grilled tilapia with a fork.
Assemble the tacos by placing some cabbage slaw on each tortilla, followed by tilapia, and top with mango salsa. Serve immediately.
