Grilled Tilapia Tacos with Mango-Pineapple Salsa recipe


This is a yummy taco recipe with grilled fish and a sweet salsa. We use tilapia and make a salsa with mango, pineapple, and fresh herbs. It's a fun meal for lunch or dinner. You can make it with your family!


1 lb tilapia fillets
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 ripe mango, diced
1/2 cup diced pineapple
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon lime juice
8 (6-inch) flour tortillas


Wash and dry the tilapia fillets. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the tilapia fillets with olive oil and the seasoning mix you just made.
Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the tilapia fillets and cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat.
While the fish is cooking, prepare the salsa. In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, pineapple, red onion, chopped mint, chopped cilantro, and lime juice. Mix well.
Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave for about 20 seconds or until they are soft and pliable.
To assemble the tacos, flake the tilapia with a fork and divide it among the tortillas.
Top each taco with a generous spoonful of the mango-pineapple salsa.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious fish tacos!
