Grilled Ribeye Steak with Pear, Walnut & Feta Salad recipe


This is a yummy meal with a big piece of steak and a fresh salad. The steak is cooked on a hot grill and the salad has sweet pears, crunchy walnuts, and creamy feta cheese. It's a fancy dinner that's not too hard to make.


4 ribeye steaks (about 1 1/2 lb total)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 ripe pears, cored and sliced
1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
60 ml balsamic vinaigrette
1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
2 cups mixed salad greens


Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
Brush the grill with olive oil and place the steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
While the steaks rest, in a large bowl, combine the sliced pears, chopped walnuts, and mixed salad greens.
Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to coat.
Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the salad.
Slice the rested steaks against the grain.
Serve each steak with a generous portion of the pear, walnut, and feta salad.
