Grilled Banana with Almond Butter and Honey recipe


This is a warm, sweet treat with bananas that are grilled until they're soft. We add almond butter and honey on top, with a sprinkle of almonds. It's like a dessert but also a little healthy.


4 Ripe Bananas
40 g Sliced Almonds
4 Tbsp Greek Yogurt
40 g Milk Chocolate
2 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Almond Butter


Preheat your grill to a medium-high setting or prepare a grill pan on the stove over medium heat.
Place the bananas with their peel on the grill or grill pan. Grill for about 7-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until the peels become dark and the bananas soften.
While the bananas are grilling, place the sliced almonds in a dry pan over medium heat. Toast them for 2-3 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally, until they are golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
Carefully remove the bananas from the grill and let them cool for a minute. Then, slice them down the middle lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
Spread 1/2 tablespoon of almond butter inside each banana, drizzle with honey, and add a tablespoon of Greek yogurt on top.
Finally, sprinkle the toasted sliced almonds over the bananas and grate the milk chocolate on top to finish.
