Fried Shrimp recipe


This is a yummy shrimp dish. You cook shrimp in a pan with butter and lemon. It's a little bit salty and a little bit peppery. It's good for dinner or a snack.


6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste


Melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the shrimp with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and are cooked through.
Pour in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and stir to combine with the shrimp. Cook for an additional minute.
Remove from heat and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice until the butter is melted and the shrimp are well coated.
Serve the shrimp hot, garnished with a lemon wedge if desired.
