Ingredients: 1 x (16 oz) jar Alfredo sauce; 1 x (8 oz) package fettuccine pasta; 2 x (6 oz) smoked chicken breasts, chopped; 1 x (8 oz) bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces; 1 x (5 oz) package mixed greens; 30 ml balsamic vinaigrette; 1/4 tsp garlic powder; 1/4 tsp onion powder; 1/4 tsp dried basil; 1/4 tsp dried oregano; 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese; Salt to taste; Black pepper to taste; 2 tbsp olive oil

This is a yummy pasta dish with creamy sauce, chicken, and veggies. We use fettuccine noodles, smoked chicken, and asparagus. It's easy to make. You cook the pasta, mix in the sauce and chicken, and make a fresh salad on the side.

Ingredients

1 x (16 oz) jar Alfredo sauce

1 x (8 oz) package fettuccine pasta

2 x (6 oz) smoked chicken breasts, chopped

1 x (8 oz) bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

1 x (5 oz) package mixed greens

30 ml balsamic vinaigrette

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp dried basil

1/4 tsp dried oregano

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Method

Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Add fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the asparagus and cook until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In the same skillet, add the chopped smoked chicken breasts and cook until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and pour the Alfredo sauce into the skillet. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, and dried oregano. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Drain the cooked fettuccine and add it to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, chicken, and asparagus. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

In a separate bowl, toss the mixed greens with balsamic vinaigrette to make the side salad.

Serve the fettuccine Alfredo with the side salad. Enjoy your meal!
