Creamy Spinach and Garlic Lasagna recipe


This lasagna is full of creamy sauce, spinach, and a delicious garlic flavor. It has layers of cheese and pasta. It's a warm, baked dish that's perfect for dinner with family or friends.


30 cloves of garlic
2 large onions
1 kg spinach
100 g grated Parmesan cheese
5 Tbsp unsalted butter
3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
750 ml whole milk
200 g shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp dried oregano
200 g fresh lasagna sheets
2 Tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste


Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Peel and finely chop the onions. Peel the garlic cloves.
In a large skillet, heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté for 10 minutes until soft and golden.
Add the spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
In a separate pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly, until the sauce thickens. Stir in the mozzarella until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread a thin layer of the white sauce on the bottom of a lasagna dish. Place a layer of lasagna sheets over the sauce.
Spread half of the spinach mixture over the sheets, then cover with a layer of white sauce.
Repeat the layers, ending with a final layer of lasagna sheets and the remaining white sauce. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
