Creamy Garlic Seafood Pasta recipe

This is a yummy pasta with seafood and a creamy garlic sauce. You cook pasta and mix it with tasty seafood, cream, and herbs. It's a special dish for dinner that tastes like the ocean!

Ingredients

300 ml heavy cream
500 g mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, squid rings)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 large yellow onion, diced
1 tablespoon fresh tarragon, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
Zest of 1 lemon
150 ml dry white wine
350 g fettuccine
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Method

Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

While the pasta is cooking, heat the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for 2 minutes until it starts to soften.

Stir in the chopped tarragon, dill, and minced garlic to the pan. Cook for another minute.

Add the mixed seafood to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they start to turn opaque.

Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 3 minutes, allowing the alcohol to evaporate.

Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Drain the cooked fettuccine, reserving a cup of pasta water. Add the pasta to the seafood sauce, along with a splash of pasta water to help the sauce cling to the pasta.

Toss everything together gently, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the creamy seafood sauce.

Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
