Corned Beef with Cabbage recipe


This is a yummy dish with meat and veggies. It has corned beef and cabbage. You cook it in a pot with some butter, tomatoes, and a little chicken stock. It's a warm and filling meal for your tummy!


1/3 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
5 Roma tomatoes, cubed
1/2 small head cabbage, cored and cut into strips
1/2 cup beef broth
1 (12 ounce) can corned beef
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste


In a large pot, heat the unsalted butter and olive oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
Mix in the cubed Roma tomatoes and cook until they begin to soften, about 4 minutes.
Stir in the cabbage strips and cook until they start to wilt, about 5 minutes.
Pour in the beef broth and let the mixture simmer, allowing the flavors to meld, about 3 minutes.
Add the corned beef to the pot, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until the corned beef is heated through and the flavors have combined, about 10 minutes.
Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Serve warm.
