Chili Lime Roasted Chickpeas with Feta recipe

This is a yummy snack made with chickpeas. They are roasted in the oven with cheese and spices. It's a crunchy treat that's a little bit spicy and sour. You can share it with your friends or have it all by yourself!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups chickpeas
1 lime
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled

Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place chickpeas in a colander and rinse under warm water to defrost if using frozen, or drain and rinse if using canned. Pat dry with paper towels.

Transfer chickpeas to the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat evenly.

Roast in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

While chickpeas are roasting, wash the lime and cut it in half.

Remove chickpeas from the oven. Squeeze the juice of the lime over the chickpeas and stir.

Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the chickpeas and return to the oven. Roast for another 10 minutes or until chickpeas are golden and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your tangy and spicy chickpea snack!
