Cheesy Tortellini Frittata recipe


This is a yummy egg dish with cheese and pasta inside. It's like a big pancake made of eggs and pasta. You cook pasta, mix it with eggs and cheese, and cook it in a pan until it's all yummy and ready to eat.


250 g Cheese Tortellini
100 g Turkey Ham
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
5 Eggs
30 g Grated Pecorino Cheese
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley


Cook the tortellini in boiling salted water according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain.
Cut the turkey ham into small pieces and fry in a non-stick frying pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat until slightly browned, about 3 minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, cheddar cheese, pecorino cheese, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley.
Add the cooked tortellini to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
Pour the tortellini and egg mixture into the frying pan with the turkey ham. Cook over medium heat without stirring for about 5 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and set.
Carefully flip the frittata using a large plate or lid and cook the other side for another 5 minutes, or until it is cooked through and golden brown.
Slide the frittata onto a serving plate, cut into wedges, and serve warm.
